Activities and other recommendations

The Gold Coast offers plenty of activities for you to maximise your stay.

SkyPoint Climb

Clamber your way 270 metres above sea level for Australia’s highest external building climb that sits perched at the tip of the iconic Q1 building in Surfers Paradise. The going may be tough, but you’ll be rewarded with 360-degree views of the surrounding Gold Coast coastline and hinterland.

Miami Marketta

It could be the back streets of Thailand, Barcelona or New York City but it is right here in Miami on the Gold Coast. It's where the locals go and it's only eight minutes from Broadbeach.

Every Wednesday through to Saturday, Miami Marketta comes alive with street food from all round the world.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary - Queensland's most iconic wildlife experience!

Discover some of Australia's most amazing native animals!

Check out the Outback Springs precinct. Meet farmyard animals, pan for gem stones or try some authentic billy tea.

Main Beach

Situated at the northern end of the Gold Coast, Main Beach was so named as it was the main surf beach to the town of Southport. But while its name may be obvious, its hidden gems are far more exciting for this is one of the coast's areas which celebrates something old and something new in style.
